This quote from Bruce Lee really means a lot to me.
About a year ago I had hit a plateau while I was learning the Shaolin five Animals Form from Sifu Jason Wong. The second move of the set required me to do a one legged squat, and I just could not do it. I started with excuses that my body was not made to do the squat, that my femur was too long or my ankle couldn’t support it. Sifu gave me a month to figure it out or I would not continue learning the form. With the pressure on, I set to work figuring out what I needed to do to actually perform the squat. I narrowed it down to three factors: Flexability, Strength and Balance. I took the movement apart and created a regimen of strength and balance exercises, and intensified my stretching routine. I sought out advice from those who could do it and compared methods. After three weeks, I did it. I could perform the one legged squat, though it took another two to get it up to Sifu’s standards, I overcame my weaknesses and did something that I thought impossible only a month before. If you want it bad enough, you will find a way to overcome…. There are no limits. There are only plateaus!!!!!

Very true.
